On Tuesday the 7th November a speaker came in to talk to us about how what we eat can affect our health and our emotional state of mind. The speaker was a Nutritional therapist, she helped people’s minds by helping their nutrition.
We were told about our microbiome and how what we eat can affect it. Our microbiome is a collection of billions to trillions of microbes and how what we eat affects what types of microbes live in us, in particular, our gut. We were told how eating certain foods could make the microbes make us feel happy, sad, anxious, etc…
Overall the talk was very interesting and what I took from it has really helped me expand my knowledge of the body and nutrition
